This is a chance to discuss some of the critical events of 2020 -- the deaths of George Floyd and John Lewis, and the discussion of "white fragility" and systemic racism in Canada and all over the world. Led by Pat Kover, one of our Interim Moderator Team, it will touch on the civil rights movement since Martin Luther King, post-colonialism and Canada's First Nations, Inuit and Métis populations, and the PCC study on speaking out against racism and hate - and other topics as suggested by the group.
