Annual Report

 Westminster Presbyterian Church held their Annual Congregational Meeting on Sunday, February 26 following the Worship Service.  At this meeting, the 2017 budget was received and approved by attending members and adherents of the congregation. 

A summary is as follows:  

2017 will be a challenging year.  Congregational givings are down from previous years, in part due to the downturn in Calgary’s economy.  Because of this, reductions in expenses have had to be made including a 30% reduction in support staff hours of work including Music Ministry expenses.  Even with these operating cost reductions, an additional $20,000 in donations to General Operations will be needed to achieve a balanced budget.   The complete 2017 budget and 2017-2024 Financial Plan are available for download below or upon request from the office.  

Effective March 9, 2017, the Church office hours will be:  

Monday-Friday:                9:00 a.m. – 12 Noon (January to Mid-June & Mid-August to December)

Mid-June – Mid-August:    2 days per week (Days to be announced in the Bulletin)
