This event has already occurred
On Sunday, August 3, we'll be looking at another familiar story -- that of Jesus healing the blind man. This passage follows a conversation between Jesus and his disciples, with him trying to turn their eyes to the future, while they were only focused on their lack of bread for the day. In his frustration, Jesus wondered why they could not understand -- and then went on to restore the vision of a blind man.
How about us? Are we so focused on our day-to-day needs that we fail to see what Jesus really wants us to see? Could we do with a change of focus? Let's look at that on August 3, and as usual we invite you to stay afterwards for some refreshments and conversation.
