What does it mean to have enough? In the wilderness, God provides manna for hungry Israelites—not a stockpile for the future, but enough for each day. In Jesus’ parable, a landowner gives every worker a full day’s wage, even those who arrived at the very end. Both stories challenge the way we measure abundance. God’s abundance is not about some having more while others go without; it is about everyone having what they need. Abundant life invites us away from scarcity, comparison, and keeping score, and toward trusting in a God whose generosity keeps making room for everyone to have enough.
