This mural depicts flocks of birds gathering together to form an image of the world. I chose birds as symbols in the drawing because birds are commonly used to represent freedom, which is what I wish for everyone to have when expressing their ideals, beliefs, and traditions. Furthermore, doves specifically often symbolize peace, which is another quality I believe is important to achieve when diverse cultures and characters cross paths. The varied, vibrant colours of the mural are to indicate a positive tone and an inclusive community where the different attributes of different individuals are bonded together despite these distinctions.
