After more than 6 months of online worship, and nearly 6 months of a closed building, Westminster has taken careful but hopeful steps to move towards worshipping together again. And October 4 will be the day that we are ready to welcome people into church. We have planned with two main goals in mind: creating a meaningful worship in our own sanctuary, and doing all we can to ensure that we have minimized risks to health during the current COVID-19 realities.

To do so, we are adhering to Alberta Health Services (AHS) guidance for places of worship. We are also following the City of Calgary face coverings by-law. Our aim is to create a worship experience that takes place meaningfully but within these constraints, and also to allow for online participation for those who would feel more comfortable continuing to worship at home to minimize their personal health risks.

The Rev. Maren McLean Persaud and Pat Kövér will be leading worship starting at 10:30 am. Please join us for a sermon entitled "What are we Re-opening?". We look forward to seeing you, or, if this isn't a good time for you to be joining in face-to-face worship, please join us on YouTube by clicking the button below.
