This event has already occurred
Pentecost. An occasion of the church year that doesn't get as much attention as Advent, Christmas, or Easter, but it is an occasion that is closely aligned to our daily life -- because that's when the Spirit appeared to signify God's presence with us forever. Today we'll identify with the disciples in the joy of receiving the Holy Spirit, and refresh our awareness of the work for which the spirit calls and empowers us.
We will celebrate Communion during this service. And if you'd like to, we invite you to wear red to celebrate the flames of the spirit!
